Metamask does not detect bees on Infura
When it successfully settled a broken connection and launch your web3.py script, pop -Up of Metamask is displayed. In some cases, however, it may not find the relationship or seem that nothing had happened. Here are some potential reasons why this can happen:
1
Make sure you have replaced my_keywith your influence API key.
Python
Infura_url = “
`
If your bees key is correct, try copying the right URL and putting it in the pop metamask.
2
Try to move on to another inferral supplier if you use Ropsten. Metamask controls the infura_ur attribute in the W3 object before trying to connect.
Python
Infura_url = “
W3 = Web3 (Web3.httpprovider (infura_url))
Print (W3.isconnected ())
`
3.
Connection time
Metamask can wait for a relationship that never comes. Try to increase waiting times:
Python
Import time
Via web3 imports web3
Infura_url = “
W3 = Web3 (Web3.httpprovider (infura_url))
Print (W3.isconnected ())
Time.sleep (10)
wait 10 seconds to see if you connect
Print (W3.isconnected ())
`
4.
Problems with web3 ** Connection problems
Sometimes the problem of the connection may be due to network problems or problems with the local node Ethereum. Attempt:
Python
Infura_url = “
W3 = Web3 (Web3.httpprovider (infura_url))
Print (W3.isconnected ())
`
5
If you are using an old inferral supplier, the key may have expired. Attempt:
Python
Matters Json
With Open (“Infura_api_key.json”) as f:
Data = json.lad (F)
New_Key = Date [“Web3”] [“Key”]
W3 = Web3 (Web3.httpprovider (New_Key))
Print (W3.isconnected ())
`
6.
Pop -Up of Metamask is not displayed
This may be due to Metamask in order not to detect the connection or the problem with the browser settings. Attempt:
Python
Via web3 imports web3
Infura_url = “
W3 = Web3 (Web3.httpprovider (infura_url))
Print (W3.isconnected ())
``
If none of these solutions works, please provide more details on the configuration and the environment, including any appropriate errors or messages of information that can help identify the problem.
